Thailand & Beyond

Anywhere you go in Thailand, you will go from Bangkok. That is your arrival destination to Thailand. From there inland you will have to get local airflights. From Bangkok to the heartland by Thai Air to KhonKhan, then by limousine (Toyota Van) to Roiet, Kalasin, Somdet and Huipung. For all points onward by TukTuk (three wheel taxi). Points west to Myanmar, to the east Loas, Cambodia and Vietnam. Friendly people with a definate India influence in names, architechure and of course the white holy cow. Not so holy to the Thai one would guess. Bangkok, 12 million people, perhaps not the ideal place one would want to set up camp, but overall a very modern city. Every place I went I had to conduct at least one English class.
